Why is American Atheists trying to change atheism to Atheism™?

They're wrong. An 'atheist' can believe in souls, reincarnation, magic, etc. What they are describing is a skeptic. Of course, even a skeptic will accept supernatural events if there is sufficient evidence.

My bird is biting it's foot and i think it is broken and dead?

When i seperated my zebra finch because the male was plucking her feathers, i noticed that today he keeps viciously biting his foot and now i believe that it is broken, and possibly dead with no feeling. My mom said it's going to die soon except it looks healthy. She refuses to take it to the vet, and now i don't know what to do.... i think it's going to die soon. HELP!

Problems with ares and computer?

im having this very irritating problem with ares and my pc,every time i open ares and attempt to do anything with my keyboard while ares is opened up the pc just freezes.not like frozen for a few seconds but like a broken record,continuously playing the same note of a song over and over and over.anyways it freezes,shows a blue screen saying some crap about memory dump or whatever.you know the fukkin blue screen of death..also all my pc keeps saying its infected.could it be a bunch of trojans,worms,backdoors etc messing with my computer.PLEASE HELP ME.

What is a phis hing filter and what does it do?

"Phishing" is what some sites do to get your personal info and bank account details to be able to rip you off later. Good browsers and mail providers have phishing filters installed to protect you from phishing attacks. Phishing attempts will be blocked and/or warnings about an attempt will be issued. Note: the Yahoo spellchecker doesn't recognize phishing as a correct word and always tells you to switch it to "phis hing" which of course doesn't make any sense at all...:-(

Are speech problems or lisps hereditary?

If you think about it, When growing up they problem heard their mother's voice the most, and that is how people learn to talk. They have listened to their mother who may have a speech impediment and they to acquired because that is what they are hearing. It's like when you learn a new word, someone sounds it out for you and you repeat the sound. That is more than likely why they have a speech impediment.

Air Force and Civilian Marriage?

My girlfriend is wanting to go into the air force, and i'm wanting to be a state trooper here in arkansas, so I was wondering if we were to ever get married, would the air force take our marriage into consideration when they ign her to a post? Because, if i'm a trooper it would be hard to just up and quit, and go to work for another department.
