2000 BMW 740 il Some advice/opinions?

Maintenance for a BMW is EXPENSIVE. So be prepared to have a reserve of cash to maintain this thing. Trust me. I'd have an expert take it for a spin and do a look see. That's the best way. 10yrs old could have tons of issues. And again, BE PREPARED to spend tons of money on the maintenance. If you really want it I'd offer them $6,000 cash and be done with it. If not then up it to $6,500. Wouldn't pay more than 7k! But again you need to get that thing looked over good.
