Horse Tack Questions?

there are different saddles for dressage & for jumping. they're similar so you could probably get away with an all purpose english saddle. buy one used & polish it up real nice. it might be hard to find a velvet helmet cover, but if you find one, buy it! it will most likely be a lot cheaper than buying a brand new helmet. ask someone at your local tack shop about the reins. i think it depends on what you'll be using them for. a lung line might be a good idea if your horse gets a little antsy. if they're acting up while you're riding them, then its a good idea to lunge them to get some extra energy out, that way they will sumbit to you easier. def go with tall field boots. once you get them broken in they're amazing! except when it is killer hot out. when you get tall boots, you'll need some britches. someone at the tack shop can def help you out with that. gloves are good for almost anytime of year. just get simple leather ones at the tack shop. they're a lifesaver sometimes! you'll need different blankets for different times of the year. once again. they'll help you at the tack shop. i hope i helped! :D
