Is it common for women in their twenties to shave their cracks?

My friend (who will now be known as "Angela") told me she shaves her crack. I told her that that was really weird and not many women i know do such things. She said all her friends from high school do it. I seriously think this is super weird, so shed some light on this for me so i can prove this insane woman wrong. OH GOD SHE JUST BENT DOWN IN FRONT OF ME AND I SAW EVERYTHING: SO SHAVED! weird.....
