Shadow of Destiny PC help!?

I don't know most of the controls and can't figure it out. I know i move with the arrows, talk to people with the left mouse on or enter and that i can open the map with shift. then my pocket started glowing green and i don't know how to get the digipad out! hlp will be GREATLY appreciated! thanks!
