When studying medical physics do you become a fully qualified doctor?

i am considering my options after i finish A-Levels (UK) and i might study a medical physics course at ucl or leeds. i need to know if this course will ensure that i become a fully qualified doctor at the end of it, or something less than that. any information would be useful.
