Why should I marry?

What a beautiful question. It is honorable that you would work so hard to bring her joy and she should have the same diligence towards you. But, as a Christian myself, one of the greatest gifts of marriage is to have someone you grow together with toward God. There are days when I feel I don't have the words to pray or the strength to read his word. It would be wonderful to have someone in my home that will help carry that burden with/for me. And I would do the same for him. Marriage on earth also gives us a glimse into the understanding of how Christ loves us...continually loving, nurturing, cultivating, growing...together in honor of God. So your love is not "ultimately... nothing", it is a sacred and blessed opportunity. God said "it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a suitable helper for him." =)
