Is our monetary system the most misunderstood form of religion we have in the US?

When I tell people that if all citizens including their government was to pay off all debt there would be no money in circulation I get the deer in the headlights look. If people understood how our system works they would know why our government has to keep dumping money in the system. It is not about creating jobs for overdue projects, it is about keeping the system up and how you spend it is irrelevant. If we did not have Obama to attack we would be attacking the system which is harmful to companies especially bankster jobs. I would agree with the Republican Tea Party on spending if we had a gold based system but we have a debt based system and that is how it works. Every dollar in your pocket is someones else debt.
